Experian, formerly known as TRW, is one of the three major credit bureaus in the United States. Experian maintains credit information on approximately 205 million U.S. consumers and 15 million U.S. businesses. The company also maintains demographic information on approximately 215 million consumers in 110 million households across the United States. Experian North America's annual sales are more than $1 billion. Experian is a subsidiary of GUS plc and has headquarters in Nottingham, UK, and Costa Mesa, California.
